Sexual Assault

Sexual assault definition:

Unwanted sexual contact by one person against another, without consent, under circumstances of force or fear, threat of force, or the inability to consent or resist due to the intoxication or unconsciousness. Sexual assault includes touching, penetration by an object, and sexual intercourse.

Statistics:

Every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted

1 in 4 college women will be the victim of a sexual assault during her academic career

54% of sexual assaults are not reported to the police
