Great Outdoors - Santa Barbara/Ventura
Great Outdoors California is the largest gay, bi and lesbian, outdoor recreation organization in the western United States. There are chapters in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Santa Barbara. OUTrageous! Film Festival
OUTrageous: The Santa Barbara Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Film Festival has provided a spectrum of films and videos for the LGBT communities since 1992. OUTrageous provides a diverse selection of LGBT-themed films and videos that entertain, challenge, and educate. It also provides film and video makers with opportunities to screen their work that might not otherwise be seen locally. Resource Center for Sexual & Gender Diversity
The UCSB Resource Center for Sexual & Gender Diversity offers a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, genderqueer, intersex, and ally members of the UCSB community. Located on the 3rd floor of the Student Resource Building, the Resource Center is open Monday through Thursday 10am to 8pm, and Fridays 10am to 5pm. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to stop by the “Rainbow Lounge” to watch a video, study, or read a magazine. The David Bohnett CyberCenter is also housed here, providing internet access with a printer and scanner. The Resource Center also offers a lending library of educational books and videos on various topics and sponsors a variety of cultural and educational events throughout the year. TranzCentral Coast
TCC is a support group of individuals with the full range of transgender experience including transsexuals (male-to-female, female-to-male both transitioning and non-transitioning), cross-dressers, gender queer and gender questioning.
