Associated Students Queer Commission

The Queer Commission, an entity of Associated Students, serves as an educational and advocacy forum for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) students’ rights, with a commitment to representing and improving the status of LGBTQ students on campus and in the community. Black QUARE

Safe Space for Black LGBTQ Students, Faculty, & Community Members - Email to find out when meeting times are.
Black Quare provides a safe space for folks who identify with the intersection of being both black (of the African diaspora) and of the LGBT community. The mission is to create visibility and promote information/cultural concerns for this much underrepresented group. Black Quare is open to student, staff, faculty, and community members, as well.

De Colores 

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 7PM - RCSGD
A sub-committee of El Congreso, De Colores has been initiated to provide a needed space for the LGTBQ Latin@/Chican@ community, people of color, and allies by creating a medium for visibility and support.

FUQIT - Friendly Undergraduate Queers in it Together

Thursdays at 8PM - RCSGD
Looking to blow off some steam?  Calling all members and allies of the LGBTQIA communities!  A low stress, social outlet for questioning and LGBTQIA undergraduate students, this club is student-run and peer-focused for your satisfaction.  Email FUQITUCSB@hotmail.com for location and more information!

Keshet: LGBT Jewish Organization

Mondays at 7PM - San Rafael Residence Hall
Keshet is an org for Queer Jews and their allies. Our aim is to provide a safe space for Queer and Jewish identified people to connect and socialize.

KUFF - Kink University: a Fetish Fellowship

Wednesdays at 8PM - UCEN SB Mission Room
A pan-sexual group for all kink minded folk of all experience levels. We discuss current issues in the kink community, talk about safety, technique, experiences, hang out, and of course have fun.

LWP - Living Well with Pride

Wednesdays 2-3pm - @Embarcadero Hall
A support group for LGBTQ students who are interested in connecting with peers, and learning skills and strategies for enhancing overall health and well-being, including strengthening relationships, managing stress and emotions, setting and achieving goals, increasing safety, and navigating the social scene as a UCSB student.  For more information contact: Jennifer.Taylor@sa.ucsb.edu

Queer Commission

Mondays at 6:30PM - QCOMM Office: 2nd floor in Multicultural Center
The A.S. Queer Commission is working toward becoming a diverse group of members that increases awareness, educates, elicits appreciation, offers insights, towards the LGBT community at UCSB and also the Tri-County areas.
